  • Solo Stove Yukon $749.99 $429.99 at Solo Stove Best of all, this SunVilla set was delivered straight to my doorstep in just a few boxes and seamlessly set up for me in less than half an hour. Though, they’re hands down the most weather- and stain-resistent pieces of furniture I’ve ever owned after I noticed I was able to wipe away a small dirt stain and rain from the night before with just a towel and no cleaning products, and the cushions weren’t soaked either. The seat and back cushions are supportive, comfortable and sturdy, and they can easily be removed and put through the wash when they need to be cleaned. Featuring dark walnut-finished wood and a cord-wrapped frame, this gorgeous four-piece set - which includes two chairs, a love seat and a matching coffee table - elevates my small apartment patio space. So this time around, I opted for something much more expensive but ultimately something that’ll last me many patio seasons to come.

Younger nail workers were whipped if they refused to show up for work. Slaves were encouraged to be productive with rewards of meat, molasses, and fish. Two months of earnings covered the annual bill for groceries for the Jefferson household. The nailery successfully generated profit. At the nailery he used slaves that he felt were not useful elsewhere on the plantation as well as children from the ages of 10 to 16. Jefferson started his nail business in 1794 in order to provide additional income for Monticello. The book contains tables with information about the productivity of slaves producing nails at Monticello from 1796 to 1800.
